Hi Forhad,
I don't want to sound like I'm in it for the bucks - but the first step should be to order the new version of Practical Workflow for SAP (http://www.sap-press.com/product.cfm?account=&product=H3057).
There is a lot of information in here and specifically, you seem to be interested in 2 topics:
1) Routing to agents based on Cost Centre
2) Approval thru portal

Both these topics are covered in the book, as well as a wealth of more in-depth info.
Plus, I don't earn anything - nor do any of the authors. Proceeds go to Doctors Without Borders.

Otherwise, try looking at responsibilities (Start at TX PFAC).

Subject: PO WF based on cost centre

Hi everyone,

I have been asked to develop a PO wf, but I'm unsure on how to go about it. Please can anyone point me in the right direction or provide some ideas.

My scenario is that a user can create a PO for any cost centre and the work item should be sent to the user responsible of the cost centre for approval.

This will be done in the portal, where a user would login select cost centre and send request for approval to the agent which will be the user ID for the selected cost centre.

In essence it should be using the cost centre hierarchy. Would I be able to create a FM that reads the master data table and use this for my agent determination or will have to make a custom table that replicates the cost centre hierarchy.

Thank you all in advance
