[LIKELY JUNK]Re:Configure RFC when using CUA

Hi Shai,
If you are in a CUA system, the WF-BATCH user must be created in whatever is the source system/client for CUA and then migrated to other system/clients as per all other users.
I'd suggest in that source client you use SWU3 to create WF-BATCH so that it is created correctly with all relevant profiles/user type settings etc.
Once it's created SU01 can be used to adjust the email address, default communication type, decimal/date formats etc.

Once the WF-BATCH user has been migrated to the particular target system/client, you then run SWU3 to complete the rest of the config.
Usually in a CUA environment we get the security/basis guys to run the RFC configuration step via SWU3 and enter the password themselves. We then make this part of their cutover activities.

So: Either they give you access, or they take on the responsibility for completing that step in all system/clients. Their choice.

Regards,
Jocelyn

Hi Jocelyn,

I've already verified I have user group SUPER, but it'd still will not work automatically.
Entering password manually will work but I don't realy like this solution. Usually security guys don't like it since WF-BATCH has SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW.

Tx,

Hi Shai,
Suggest you check the SAP Notes regarding the UWL and CUA.
You need to be in the SUPER user group - which may mean creating the SUPER user group in transaction SU01.

Regards,
Jocelyn

I've found manual config in SWU3 works fine for me - i.e. set WF-BATCH pwd
via CUA and type it into SWU3.
