Adam,
Do you mean killing the current active instances and restarting the
workflows from scratch (with the same data)?
As far as I know, that can only be done manually.
As well as time-consuming, that approach would be risky - because
application data may have changed in the meantime.
(eg the purchase requisition has already been released, etc)
The typical approach is to just let the existing workflow instances run
their course.
