Workflow not listed in GOS-Start Workflow for CRMD_ORDER

Hi Manish,

Why not delegate?
BTW, even if you delegate and your WF container element is based ZZ2000115 it will not work. Your container element shoud be based on standard object type BUS2000115. The delegation is required such that BUS2000115 will "know" all the additions you delivered in ZZ2000115.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advice Shai.

I think that's where the problem lies. In our scenario we have a ZZ2000115 which is not delegated to BUS2000115. Probably that's why it's not showing up.

Dear Manish,

You can have several object types in you workflow container and GOS should work well. I work with quotation and opportunity and GOS display each WF.
You workflow container should have an object type according to the displayed transaction. For example, if you display quotation and would like to start workflow manually, then your WF should have object type BUS2000115.
Please make sure the object type in the workflow container is defined as MANDATORY.

If id would not work I'd try to set object type BUS20001 as Mandatory.

Good luck.

Hi Sue/Shai,

Yes I have done the agent assignment and added the mandatory element.

What I have realized after going through some old mails of the group is that the GOS can be used with only one business object. However in CRMD_ORDER the object type is not known beforehand. Probably this is the reason why relevant workflows are not showing up.
Maybe someone can confirm this !!!

Regards
Manish

Hi Manish,

In addition to the remark replied by Sue, you have to make sure your workflow container has mandatory element with the type of the business transaction, such as BUS2000115.

If I recall you used a custom Z type. In this case your workflow template will not appear.

Good luck.

Hello,

We need to provide users with an option to start a custom workflow from transaction CRMD_ORDER. So a custom workflow with "Start Form" was created. Also the user was defined as one of the possible agent. \

However the workflow is not listed in CRMD_ORDER > GOS > Start Workflow, though it's visible in SWUI. What we see instead is the following message in the window.

Help
Several objects are known in the selected work item. To start a workflow, perform the following steps in the specified order:
1.

Select an object
2.      Select a workflow
3.      Start the workflow
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Regards,
Manish
