Work Flows in process, but stopped/stalled ???

Rick:

There were 5 flows....in total, with the same template.

2 stopped, at the point I used as an example, the other 3 stopped at another step entirely.

No short dumps from ST22 at that time either.

The Check is based on the instantiated Installation object, to check &INSTALLATIONOBJECT.INSTALLATIONTYPE& for "blank" or not "blank".

In the other 3 cases, the flow stopped after a step to derive some text (some 5 or 6 steps later).

Step name is "Check rate category 11 or DER Reason = 0003" and the fields are INSTALLATIONOBJECT.ACTRATECAT.RATECAT& and a container variable.

This has only been happening since we increased our event delivery size from 30 to 60.

However, we ran parallel tests in another environment to fully validate the change, and ran into no issues with the increased delivery slice.

It is indeed odd, as this particular flow has been in production for over 5 years...

Thanks

Jim

Hello Jim,

I'm glad it got resolved.
What condition does "Check if supply guarantee is set" test here?
Is this really something that involves SWWCOND?

Any shortdumps in ST22 at the same time?

Thanks for the email..

SWWCOND was running

It affected more than one Template

SWI2_DIAG did not show anything.

However, desperation is an interesting thing.

I went back into SWPC and saw the 5 work flows.

Picked them all and clicked "continue work flow".

One did the other 4 did not.

went all the way out, back to the SAP menu, then back in.

Picked one, clicked continue....and off it went.

Repeat as necessary.

So, in the end SWPC did work, just one run at a time.

Really appreciate the quick response...

Thanks again

Hi Jim,

I am wondering if SWWCOND is running? Is it all workflows in your system, or just this particular template?

SWI2_DIAG is not showing anything?

Hi:

We are currently running Ecc 6.0 and have an issue with some workflows.

They show as "in process", but when you look at the flow, the current step is complete, but the work flow has stopped at that point.

There are subsequent steps, to be processed, but they do not show, and the "graph" display, shows that the flow ends at the last processed step.

But it does not continue.

I have used SWIA and SWPC on these, and no luck in moving them on to the next step and thus completing the workflow.

Is there a SAP transaction, or program , that I am not aware of, for kick starting these types, and letting them complete on there own??

Thanks in advance
