Extended Notifications - Webdynpro Hyperlink

Hi,

I have messages from 'Send Mail' step coming to my oulook. Here I am
defining Reipient type as 'U E-Mail adress' and specifying the email as
xx at aa.com which is actually my email address.

If I create a user decision step and define the agent as 'USXYX' which
is me, I do not get this in my outlook mail. What am I missing here? My
user id has the email address defined.

It all works fine if you have the right URL in the SWNCONFIG, General
Settings.  Also you might need to add a parameter to the SWFVISU
parameters for the Task.  It's one of the std ones, forgotten which one.
It just needs the parameter to exist, don't give it any value.  You
could be fine, this was an issue that was fixed by SAP in the release
after the one I was working on.

I now have Extended Notifications working (hooray).  We are delivering
an email with a hyperlink to the Webdynpro application as set in the
General Settings and determined from SWFVISU.  It creates a hyperlink
that executes the webdynpro (LeaveRequestAdmin) and references the WI_ID
from Workflow and updates the WI status.  Super.

 

BUT, what if the email is forwarded to someone else and they execute the
hyperlink?  Well it works fine for them as well, which appears to be a
bit of a security hole to me.
