HR-Workflow integration with Business Object Types

Hi Anil,

the SAP Standard already creates an event for you, using the Business Object Type

ABSENCE and the events:
APC ABSENCE APPROVALCANCELLED
APP ABSENCE APPROVED
DEL ABSENCE DELETED
INS ABSENCE CREATED
REQ ABSENCE REQUESTED
RQC ABSENCE REQUESTCANCELLED

See table T779W on OT=P InfTy=2001

P stands for Person here and this is what you were looking for.

Generally explained: The HR integration into the SAP Business Workflow is highly flexible, which can make it on the other hand highly complicated:
For each infotype/subtype and each organizational object type (Person, Org.Unit, and many many others), for each action (insert/update/...) you can link your (own custom) business object type with your (own custom) events needed.

Luckily for many info types for HR-PA there're already Business Objects created.

If you have further questions about the HR/Workflow maintenance please post again, but for the moment I'd say that there's no need for you to make custom entries in this table.

Best wishes,
   Florin
