Reg SWEHR1 : Significance of Object Types OT - Person, Job, ...

Hi All,
Can any one explain the activities in SWEHR1.

In that, what is the significance of the first column OT ?

While creating a new entry , under this column, I get around 151 possible
entries, like, A - work center, AC Rule, AG Role, etc.

1. What exactly are these Object Types ?
2. What is the basis, to select a particular Object Type in this column ?
