Hi Bhawanidutt, 
 
It's nothing to do with the UWL.  
 
Your agent assignment is wrong, i.e. you either have both 1st and 2nd
level approver as recipients of the work item, or you have 2 work items
active at the same time.
 
Check the workflow logs and work back from that.

Subject: [LIKELY JUNK]Leave Request Workflow and UWL


Hi All, we have modify SAP standard Leave Request approval work flow and
have added 2nd  Level of approval.
The Flow is the 1st Level approver (Manager) approves the leave and then
it should go to 2nd Level Approver which in case is the Head of the Unit
(Chief Position).
 
Now the issue is that when the 1st Level (Manager) approves the Leave
Request  the work flow reaches the 2nd Level approver --- but it also
appears in the 1st Level UWL. it dosent disappear from his UWL and my
mistake 1st Level approver can again approve the Leave Request.
 
How do we handle this issue.
 
Need your expert advice on this issue.
