WF trace : Limited actions logged

Hi,

I remember using WF-Trace in 4.6b where I was able to log container assignments. With the same hope I activated WF-Trace (SWU8) in our CRM 5.0 system. To my surprise nothing was logged.
I activated the trace from SWUD also (for the same WS9xxx..) still same result.

I need to capture container assignments in order to validate something. Any pointers how this should be done in the newer SAP systems?
