Work Item to Outlook Mail

Hello experts,

                I have to develop a workflow, so please guide me the
steps to be followed. I am new to workflows.

Requirement:    1. Whenever a purchase order is create workflow has to
be triggered.

                                2. Here one user decision step will be
there to approve or reject the purchase order.

                                3. The work item should go to my
managers Outlook Mail ID as a link.

                                4. When he clicks on the link the system
should ask for User Id and PWD.

                                5. From there Manager will approve or
reject.

                I know this workflow is pretty simple but I need
suggestions for better performance.
