Workitem - Outlool Email subject line is limited to 50 characters

Hello experts,

We have implemented workflow for numerous business processes and everything seems to be working fine except the workitem/notification  email subject line.

We are using extended email notification since we are on Release 700 and SP level 15. But when the notification is sent to users outlook inbox they could see only 50 characters on the subject line,rest is truncated.

We have implemented the SAPOSS 975947 , still the problem remains.

I looked into other notes such as  958426 and  1086170.But those don't look relevant to us.

Can you please share your experience and resolution on this matter if you have done anything different than I did ?
