Nat,
OK . Another difference is that you are testing the method in the
foreground with your userid, but the workflow task is run
in the background by WF-BATCH.
The user WF-BATCH may have different authorizations or PID settings.
Perhaps you could debug as WF-BATCH
(Menu: Utilities > Settings > Debug in the ABAP editor) to see exactly what
is going wrong?
However.... you would assume that WF-BATCH would be the same in all
clients. Maybe the PO is stuffed.
Can you perhaps try another one?

If that was the case then why would the method produce the correct
results ?
I am testing both the task and method on with the same PO.

Nat,
It looks like the purchase order that you are using for testing (4501...)
has a data error in it ("not a valid balance sheet..").
That would explain the difference between QA and Prod behaviour.
Perhaps try another one?

Hi,
Sorry for not providing for info.
Please advise what other information you require in order for you to help.
This is a task in the purchase order release workflow.
business object is Z_BUS2012.
Method is a custom method to determine agent.
Task works in our production environment.
Task does not work in our QA environment after transporting a change to the
workflow.
No change was made to the task.
Just added some validation.

We on version 4.7C
We have a method that is producing the required results but the task
related to that method does not produce the same results.
Can anyone help with this regard.
