Hi Sue,

I think you'll find the limit is on the SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER parameter oif you are using the SIMPLE_CONTAINER parameter.
You need to use the IFS_XML_CONTAINER interface instead - which means doing some XML formatting.

Regards,
Jocelyn

Subject: [LIKELY JUNK]Container length limit

We're on ECC 6.0.

I'm developing a workflow that will bring in data into containers from Java executing SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER.

Is there a limit on the amount of data that can be in a container? We have a container that contains content of a letter and it is being cut off at 255 characters when executing this function module.

The container is defined in the workflow as data type SWFXST_STRING, which has no length restriction.
