AW: Extended notifications e-mail - url link that opens EBP front-end

Hello Stuart,

you should consider to setup a SSO (Single-Sign-On)environment where a
separate logon to the SAP Application server is no longer needed, as the user
authenticates himself once with the logon to his windows client.

If you are on a Microsoft (Microsoft Active Directory) Landscape,
Kerberos/Spnego is the way to go. For a notes environment SAML is the right
approach.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Markus

Betreff: Extended notifications e-mail - url link that opens EBP front-end

Hi All,

I've configured an Extended Notifications e-mail to include an URL that links
to the EBP front-end - this works fine when one clicks on the link the EBP
log-on screen is displayed. However, we have a requirement for the User ID to
be automatically populated in the log-on screen and maybe the password, if
this is at all possible?

Does anyone know if the above population of the User ID is possible via the
SWNCONFIG/SWNADMIN or any other configuration?

Thanks and regards,
Stuart.
