Wayne,

Have you checked changing the event settings on the event linkage?

The system default is typically "Deactivation of linkage" on error, you
can change this to "Do not change linkage" to see if that helps.

Thanks,
Seth

Subject: Program exit Exception raised deactivates the event linkage

Hi all,
I need your help to find out if I am missing something here....

There is a program exit on a workflow start event (a class that
implements the interface IF_SWF_IFS_WORKITEM_EXIT ).
It reacts only to SWRCO_EVENT_BEFORE_CREATION (BEF_CREATE).
I do some checking and raise the following exception if I do not want
the workflow to start....

raise exception type cx_swf_ifs_workitem_exit_error exporting t100_msg
= lw_message.
(lw_message is populated with my message of course)
All goes well, the workflow does not start. BUT the event linkage is
deactivated.
Can I prevent the deactivation from happening?

 Thanks for your help,
 Wayne Hanrahan
