Workflow is not triggered properly.

Sudhir,

We also faced similar problems and avoided by inserting a wait step (up to 30 sec) as the first step in the workflow.

Sudhir,
I would wonder what release you are on, and also what your first step is dependent on. If the event is raised correctly, and the workflow does start but then sometimes hangs up, perhaps it is that the task couldn't complete due to a timing issue? I'd check the task to ensure that if the data it is looking for isn't there yet, then an appropriate outcome is performed (perhaps you go back to the task, depending on outcome). Or loop until all the sales order data is found.
The fact that you can successfully start and complete the workflow manually, and that this issue occurs sporadically seem to support that the sales order is not fully updated at the time the workflow task tries to process.
Just my 2p,
Sue

Hi All,

I am facing a weird issue that I need to fix soon. When BUS2032 CREATED is raised after a sales order is created, event trace does not show any workitem created. When I check using SWI1, I see that workitem does get created but status shows "In-Process". And it gets stuck there..

I have attached screen-shots to show this.

When I manually trigger BUS2032 CREATED event using SWUE, everything works just fine.

this doesnt happen everytime, but about 5% of the times.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Sudhir
