Workflow Start Conditions

hi
        we can start the workflow
                 1) from transaction swus  (design using  transaction swdd)
                 2) using events
                                creation of   events futher divided into
                                                   1) change documents
                                                    2) status management
                                                    3) message control
                                                     4) using badis
(progamming )
       correct me if iam wrong .
