WF to TS Binding Question

Greetings WUG,

If I pass an object into my task from the workflow and in that task I
edit the object...do I need to bind the object back into the workflow
container.  Will this force the workflow container to update the object
with new values that may have been changed during the edit?  Currently I
don't do this but I've heard that this is the case or may have used to
of been the case.
