Hi Sherie,

Thanks for Inputs. I have not done any binding as you have mentioned.
Wanted to know how it will help? because actually what is happening is ,
If I execute the user decision step - which is prior to send mail step-
in English environment, Notification text in SAP Inbox is in English.
However if I refer the same text by logging in in German, I am still
able to see the Text in English in my Inbox.

Here my doubt was , why it is not picking up the German text which I had
maintained ? Surprisingly, if I refer workflow log and thru' it, if I
check the work item display and description fro send mail step, it can
be seen in German !

So I was about to assume that Notification Texts will be available in
the Language in which the Step is executed. i.e. If I login using
different language , then this text will not be changed i.e. it will
still be in the earlier language!
(which is not the case with other Work items. I am able to see work item
texts in different languages)

Pls suggest me whether my assumption above is correct.

Thanks and Regards,

Akshay,
Do you have the language of the recipient bound in the send mail step?
Generally I believe it will be in your system language unless you bind
it otherwise.

Subject: SAP notifications in different languages

Hi Friends,

I had searched on this topic in our forum , and got some information
also, however could not find exact information related to
notifications.

To elaborate the scenario, I have maintained the Translation of texts
using workflow builder for my workflow template in English and German
languages.
It works fine in case of dialog steps of workflow , i.e if I log in
English, I can see English text and vis-a versa.
However the case is not same in case of send mail step.

I have maintained task description in both the languages for mail step.
However if I execute the workflow by logging in German language and
mail is sent, It shows German text, Fine. But If I try to log in English
and check the notification in SAP Inbox, then it still shows text in
German and not in English.( Note: But in workflow log - work item
display , I can see the English text ! )

Wanted to know that is this some problem that am I missing something, or
notifications will shown in the language in which they are executed ?

Appreciate your inputs on this matter.

Thanks and Regards,
