Determining if actual agent of work item is a substitute

Hi Ramki,

We've always stored the selected agents in a container table prior to workitem delivery. So, if the actual agent is not one of those, and the workitem has not been forwarded (easy enough to find out, I think) then the agent must have been a substitute. For whom ? That gets a little dicier, as they could have been substituting for any of the selected agents, if the same entries exist in HRUS_D2.

But it sure would be nice to just get the info without having to jump through container hoops and HRUS_D2 and all that.

Hope this helps,
Sue

Subject: Determining if actual agent of work item is a substitute

Hello all,

Is it possible to determine if the actual agent of a work item is a
substitute and not an original recipient (after work item is completed)
and on whose behalf? I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to find
this from the workflow tables. Making changes to the workflow is not an
option at this time.

Regards,
Ramki Maley.
