send mail with a picture

Hello all,
I have this quite unique requirement - send email (in background offcourse) which includes a JPG picture.
So far I was unable to have the picture within the email body. If anyone can tell how it'd greate.
Currently I attached the JPG picture, which is stored as SOFM object.
