Delete Workitems from users inbox

Hi,

Trying to delete a couple of Workitems from the users inbox,
but it times out,

We have done an upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6. Should have deleted the old
Workitems
but missed a few i guess.

If the user tries to open the WI it times out , have tried SWI5, SWWL,
nothing seems to be
working,

    come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.*

    In the target system, a short dump has been written as well.

Should I check some WF config ?
