How to delete Orphaned Workflow after IDOC processedoutsideWorkflow?

Jimmy,
I have to agree that SWWL should not be used in Production. However
SWO1 is often used in production to troubleshoot for workflow (data
problems , etc.). The workflow administrator should have access to this
in Production.
Good Luck,
Sherie

Sherie,
Thank you very much. I understand what you are saying here, but again, I
don't have authorization to SWO1 either.
The project I am working on is very tight with Security. When I ask for
SWWL, the response is SAP 'According to SAP, transaction SWWL should not
be used in a Production environment to delete work items.'. I'd expect
the same from SWO1, but will try it any way.
The system is ECC 6.0. If anyone else have other solution, please let
me know.

Jimmy,
Try this..SWO1 on the object FLOWITEM... "test" and instantiate
with the work item number, then run the method "change status" to change
the item to "Cancelled" (logically deleted). We use this quite often.
Also you might want to use the correction of the IDOC as an
alternate to cancelling the workflow in the design and avoid this
problem in the future. Just a thought.
Best Wishes,

Sheldon,
Thank you for the response. I tried that. As I stated, the IDoc
already processed with status 53. 'Logically Delete' is not an option.
'Set to 'Done'' is grayed out.
Found transaction SWWL which looks like will do the trick, but
not authorized.
Posted this message, just want to see if there is any other way.

Hi All,
I have a situation, inbound IDoc processed with error, workflow
is
generated. Instead of going through workflow to processed the
IDoc, someone
corrected and processed the IDoc through a customer program.
Now, we have a few Work item remain in the user's Inbox. Tried
SWI1
'Logically Delete' is not an option. 'Set to 'Done'' is grayed
out. Is it
Authorization issue? Is there any other way to detete these Work
Items?
What is the Authorization do I need to do it?
Many thanks in advance
Jimmy
