SAP-WUG - Reminder about general courtesy

Hi Everyone,

Periodically, a member of the list will mention to me that they have been contacted 'off-line'. Somebody on the list will send a request for more help or more information directly to another subscriber. The person being asked for additional information may decline to respond, and yet subsequent requests are still sent. In the interest of all, please do not do this.

First of all, the people who answer questions to the list are a valuable resource for all of us. If they get discouraged or disgusted by persistent *personal* messages for help, then we are all hurt when they avoid the list.

Secondly, some of these folks make their living developing workflow solutions... It's not right to contact them to ask for free work; what they give to this list is what they *want* to give.

Third, this is a community forum - we all stand to benefit from the back-and-forth that occurs in these mail threads.

Please respect your fellow WUG-ers.

If you have questions or comments about this message, you may contact me personally, or use the list.

Kind regards,
Sue
"Lowly List Administrator"
