WF Builder - Can not generate/activate WF !?!

Hi Bijay,
Good to hear from you.
I have chalked this one up to the mysterious 'workflow definition was corrupted' and started rebuilding from scratch.
I'd still be interested to hear if anyone else had this happen though.

I hope other than this issue, rest is going well with you.

I'd ask your Basis friend to do the same thing that you're trying and see if it works with his id. If it works then it could be authorization issue.

I am on 4.6c, SP SAPKB46C51, GUI version 7100.1.6.3075.

Building and changing a new WF template, and the buttons (wrench for Test, match for Activate) menu paths (Workflow > Generate runtime version, Workflow > Generate and activate runtime version, Workflow > Test) all produce the same message as the Check button.  The status of the workflow may change to Saved, but never activated.

This is not related to

a)      my machine (can replicate on a co-worker's machine)

b)      the GUI - can replicate on a co-worker's machine using 640 GUI

c)      The Workflow itself - have copied to a new version and encounter same issues there

d)      My Userid - I had my friends in Basis create a new userid



There are no short dumps, no RFC errors.

Needless to say, I am at a loss.  My Basis friends are looking into it, but if anyone else has experienced, I'd appreciate any light you could shed.
