Result Processing Error for One User

Neat workaround that may do the trick for this one WF but It will come back
to bite you in other ways.

Send the note to security and tell them to apply it for all users, if it's
officially sanctioned by SAP it should usually be easy to get through even
the most stubborn security folks.

Cheers,

Mike

Thanks guys,

As the red tape for a security change would have me tied up for weeks, I'll
add the background step. That small performance hit won't even be noticed.

Regards,

Sherie

Hi Sherie/Mike,

Make sure you users have authorisation object PLOG so that there is no
problem with executing Rule resolution. See note 755767

* 755767 - Special feature for authorizations in the workflow

Hello Sherie,

Do an auth check _after_ the user has completed the decision. Due to
"advance in dialog", the subsequent step will be created under her userid
and if she doesn't have the authorization to determine the agent (e.g. can't
see the org structure) then it won't find the agent. When you restart it
will determine the agent using your auth.

Cheers,

Mike

Hello fellow wuggers who are not on vacation,

I have a very strange situation causing errors in a custom workflow.
Basically there are three series of parallel steps, the first is a branch of
two parallel decision steps which then flows to the end of the subflow. The
second is two branches of 7 and 8 parallel decision steps each with a
separate responsibility role for each step, which then flow to additional
steps. There is ONE user that is experiencing errors. Her decision is the
last one on the series of 8, per the graphic. Every time she processes the
step it goes into error during result processing with the following
messages: "Error during result of processing" " Error when processing node
583 (ParForEach index 0000" "Error when creating a component of type ''
"Error when creating a work item" "Agent determination for step '0000000583'
failed" "Error in resolution of rule 'AC90200036' for step '0000000583'" and
"No agent found". (583 is the next step in the flow) However when I
restart after error, it finds the agent with no problem. And testing the
rule shows no problem. We had the user reload SAP and reboot her machine to
no avail. I cannot reproduce the error, and no other users globally
experience the error, so I am assuming it has something to do with the
user...but what?

Anyone ever see anything like this?

Many Thanks in Advance,

Sherie
