Business Object Audit Utility

Fellow WUGgers,

Has anybody heard of (or developed) any nice audit programs that compare Business Objects between systems? I'm thinking more about version management and change control here more than anything else.

The reason I ask is because I was tasked with checking whether an object had actually been touched by a Transport (since it was listed as an object the assumption was that it had) but the usual SE38 version comparison check showed nothing was actually changed code-wise. Which means either: a) the developer reverted the changes or made none at all and yet forgt to remove the object from the Transport or b) the signature of a method, or parameters or events were touched prompting the object to be included in the Transport.

In the end I resorted to comparing the various SWOT* tables (DQ, TQ, DI etc) between the systems for the Business Object in question and found a tiny change, but this was a pain.

A nice neato ABAP to analyse stuff would be ideal...
