Element not populating into AC_CONTAINER

Hello Workflow experts,
I have set up a function module in my role container and I require an
element to be populated into AC_CONTAINER which is read by the function
module. When maintaining the standard role (PFAC) I have set up the
element in tab-strip CONTAINER but the element does not flow through to
AC_CONTAINER. I know the element is available because I am populating it
when starting the workflow manually (SWUS).Maybe I am defining the
element incorrectly in PFAC. How do I find out how to define the element
correctly?
