Dear Sue,

Could you please explain how you were able to assigned SAP Org Object to
Persons ?

I already added entry in T7791 for T024 and P.

Thanks again,

Hi Shai,

I think you need an entry in table T7791 to indicate that you will want
to assign T024 to OTYPE P. But you might want to think hard about it.
Assigning a Purchasing Group to a Person means that as soon as someone
leaves or moves to another department, you need to maintain your SAP Org
Object Assignments, or the Purchasing Group disappears ? or it's empty
with no user in it ?

Perhaps it could be assigned to Jobs or Positions ?

And yes, I have assigned SAP Org Object to Persons.

Good luck,

Sue

Hi all,

I'm trying to use t.code PFOM to assign purchasing group to person.

Therefore I use standard Org. object type T024 and tries to assign to
person.

I got message 5W210 (SAP org. object type T024 cannot be assigned to
org. mgmt. object type P).

I added in customization the connection between T024 and object type P
and then error messge Entry: P B 222 SO missing in T77EV.

Has anyone every assign or. object to person ? with org. unit \ position
all works well...

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Hi Shai,

... we use a separate custom table as extension to T024 to maintain
user-id's for purchasing groups and have a role-resolution in the
workflow to direct the workitems.
That's quite easy to maintain.

Best regards,
Florin
