Praveen,

If I understand your email correctly, the setting of the General Task
attribute is done in each separate system. Go to the
workflow.....double-click the task....click the Agent Assignment (Red
button) under Task Properties on the Control tab. The attributes button
is found at the top of the screen. This is where you would set it to a
General task. If it is a background task, you don't need to set it to
General task.

Hi All,
I am trying to get the 'classify as general attribute' flag for a
standard task in transport, the tasks are SAP standard.
Automatic recording of changes is set in the client profile for the
system.
No transports request is automatically called while assigning the
attribute. If i manually include the task as an object in the request,
probably the flag will be captured in the transport.

But the million dollar question is, it is given in 'The Book' that if
the automatic recording is on, it should ask for request...What is that
i am missing.???

We are on ECC6 and basis 700.
