Thanks for your reply. I'd like to ask about you development - is it object type dependent ? I'd like to develop object type independent mechanism.

Thanks in advance.

Hello all,

A customer of mine wishes to control the deadline offset for every step as master data. Meaning he would like to have a table for which he could maintain deadline offset per task. For the best of my knowledge such require further development.
My current investigation is to try using object type WORKITEMGI and enhancing it.

Has anyone tried something like this before? any recommendation? userexit while workitem creation?

Thanks in advance.

We achieved this by custom table, maintainable by the customer, and custom
method that accessed this table, binding the values back into the workflow
container, which were then used by the various deadlines.
