Can't use roles as agents in expressions?

Thanks Ed & Ramki.
It has to be a dynamic role so task assignments are not applicable. Client
uses roles instead of rules.

Workarounds are not an issue, I'm just wondering whether this shouldn't
work as standard. Ramki has indicated that this indeed doesn't work on
other 620 systems so at least I know it's not just our system.
