SAP-WUG - to SDN or not to SDN, that is the question

SAP-WUG is an amazing forum - the SDN points has really spoiled the whole
idea behind the forum.

The replies from SAP-WUG are from real professionals willing to share the
knowledge.

Keep SAP-WUG alive!

RE: SAP-WUG - to SDN or not to SDN, that is the question

I would hope that any forum, either SDN or this one, would be OK for
"beginners". I have posted questions with this group as well as the SDN
forum. Either avenue works for me. With SDN, more users are going away
from the ASUG discussion forums. I found SDN helpful as long as the
person giving
advice did not talk down or respond with links to other discussions. While
there may be many threads for the same topic, I found it easier to just
post my question instead of trying to search through hundreds of postings.

Just my two cents.

I agree too. It is difficult to find anything useful on SDN.
Most people there sound like beginners with tons of threads for the same
topic.
Also, this way we get to see new things which may not be needed right
away.

Agree with all comments. The WUG is more direct and a true specific
workflow forum. With no points "incentive" for useless answers like on
SDN.

Sherie, Mike, All,

I hear you loud and clear. If others feel the same way, please reply and
say WHY. I don't mind keeping this list going as long as I can; as a
matter of fact, I enjoy it quite a bit. But this list has no 'official'
status with SAP, and it is just by grace of good luck that we have some
excellent
SAP folks (you know who you are) on it.

If you feel that this list should continue, again, please state why...
why you like it, why other sources don't meet your needs, etc.

That, along with your $20 contribution, will keep SAP-WUG up and running.

Kidding (about the $20) for those of you who don't know me, Sue
