Extended Notifications

Please everybody - do *** NOT *** use OLD, DEPRECATED functionality when
new functionality exists in your release (i.e. NW 6.40 and above)  -
especially given that extended notifications is MUCH more flexible than
RSWUWFML2 - particularly with regard to links, format, etc,etc. 
 
Akshay - you need to adjust your subscription parameters to indicate
which links you want/do not want, and where there are options, which
link format you want. 
 
If that is insufficient you can copy the standard notification handle
CL_SWN_NOTIF_WORKFLOW and change the link handling in method
IF_SWN_NOTIF~GET_LINKS to work however you want it.

Hi,

 

 if u want to send notification for workitems in mail box.. simple you
can schedule the program RSWUWFML2 with out selecting the check boxes of
execute and display workitem. Try this. At least just execute this
program once.

Why you need to go for extend notification.

Hi All,

 

We have set up the extended notifications which send the work item to
usrs outlook address.

Wanted to kow is there a way by which we can hide the links like
(Execute work item ,Display work item )

which are sent when the work item is sent to outlook email address of
the user and only present him the link with Inbox ?
