Substitution Issue

Lalitha,

   Go to SE16 and look at SAP Table HRP1001.  Enter the following
values:

PLVAR = 01
RSIGN = A
RELAT = 210 
BEGDA = less than or equal to today
ENDDA = Greater than or equal to today.

(A 210 is the code for positional substitutions).  This will give you a
list of all active positional substitutions in your organization
structure.

What version of SAP? And if view via Portals (UWL) what version? 
 
Position Substitution I can only assume if not in HRUS_D2.
 
I think I read somewhere (anyone correct me if I am wrong) that
substitution in EP7 UWL Portals is all or nothing.
i.e. can't sub by just "Classification" type. You create a sub, you get
it all.

Hi,
 
I am currently checking a substitution that is happening,
 
Person B is set up as the substitute for person A, but this is only for
"COMP" - Compensation profile.
 
But when any travel requests are forwarded to Person A for approval it
goes to person B. There is no sub setup for "TRAVEL" - Travel Profile.
 
there is no history of substitution, checked the HRUS_D2 table also,
 
Not sure what else I need to check to explain why all the WI's are going
to B, instead of A.
