FIPP Changed - FYI

Hi Paul,
I noticed OPEN_FI interface was called.
I just spent 2 hrs debugging this beast.
found a very cute note on the matter. 159067.
Essentially you need to add entries to a table via txn obwh.
Run report RFBIPPG2
This generates code that is called during the preliminary check rountine
and causes the FIPP.CHanGED to occur.
I now know why people use the OPEN FI interface and don't bother with
std config :-)
I also plan to use the OPEN_FI now !
I have only 1 comment about fipp and the relating code. "Bushpig"
I can now get back to designing the WF.
cheers
Phil

G'day Phil,
You have to add the event with a function module as a BTE. There is a
template FM - SAMPLE_IF_00002214_FIPP_CHANGE for use with transaction
SWU_BTE.
I seem to remember there's a bit more to it than just running the
transaction, and transporting was a bit pesky, so use the sample
function
module above as a start for an OSS note safari.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi WUGers,
searching the archives showed that APP config is indeed required.
With some customizing in place, FIPP.CREATED is being triggered.
2 Standard workflows crank up. I plan to removed linkages.
So far so good.
What bothers me is that the changed event isnt triggered.
Stndard WS template waits for FIPP.changed
I just changed the amount on a parked document.
No Event in SWEL.
ANy ideas ?
