When is a Shopping Cart not deleted ?

Hi all,

It must be Friday, cause here I am writing a nutty question again.

SRM 5.0 (go-live = 6 weeks and counting)

We want to notify the shopper if someone deletes their cart (after
approval workflow has completed). This could be done by the Buyer for
instance. However, it doesn't seem like SRM wants to start a workflow
on the event DELETED for an approved Shopping Cart. I have resorted to
using start conditions, so that the only condition I care about is if
the Event = DELETED, yet still, no workflow.

I can get workflow for SC Deletion to start if the Cart was in approval
at the time of deletion. So that's not my issue.

Checked out events by status management, because the cart does get
assigned a system status of I1040 if deleted, but I can't create events
on the status object SCH, because no key exists. There is an OSS
message (559051) which suggests adding entries to table TBo00, but this
note is specifically for Quotations, not SCs.

So my question is....

Have you triggered a workflow in SRM when a Shopping Cart is deleted ?

If it *true* what the description of the event Deleted in the BOR is
'Deleted during approval' ??

I must be missing something really obvious here, because I can't believe
that the tools to react to this type of event are missing.

Please, give me a clue...
Sue
