Send an SMS in workflow step

Hello All,

SAP release ECC 6

The system is set for sending SMS messages via SCOT, node PAG

Outside of the workflow, when creating a short message via menu path system-short message,
It is possible to send the message as an sms if the mobile number is entered in the recipient field
And the recipient type is "pager number" (K)

However, when trying to do the same in the workflow:

Creating a "send mail" step
Specify in the binding:

Mobile number --> &ADDRESSSTRINGS&
K             --> &TYPEID&

The step goes into error and the message in the log is:

Work item 000001081024: Object 000001081024 method SENDTASKDESCRIPTION
cannot be executed


Has anyone tried to send an SMS this way ? 
Or maybe you can recommend another way ?
