Hi Mustajab,
You can only use FM ENQUEUE_E_WORKITEM for locking the workitem, if the
 FM
returns non-zero value, that means the workitem is already locked and
 zero
means you have locked it.
Unlock the workitem by the FM DEQUEUE_E_WORKITEM after you finish the
processing.
In both of the FM, only you need to pass the workitem id.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Abir Kundu

Hi Mustajab,
You can try the Function modules :
ENQUEUE_E_WORKITEM and DEQUEUE_E_WORKITEM.

If you find them helpful, let me know please.

Hi,

I have developed a program for mass maintenance of Work Items using
 which
users can change container data elements. I was looking for a way to
Enque/Deque work items but all that I could find was function module
SAP_WI_ENABLE and SAP_WI_DISABLE for locking the work item against
execuction and unlocking the work items.

Has anybody worked or has some information on similar stuff for
 Enque/Deque
Work items?

Thanks and Regards,

Mustajab

Thanks Abir. Should I still use SAP_WI_ENABLE and SAP_WI_DISABLE to
 lock
and unlock the work items for the duration the work item is changed?

Hi All,
We are on ECC6.0, implementing leave workflow with multi level
approver (WS12300111). We are using two custom rules to find out the
 1st
and 2nd level approver. The workitem is going to the UWLs of the
 correct
agents, no problem.
There is one “Approver” field on the Leave request form. SAP
 is
pre-populating the field (I think using the standard rule AC00000157,
 not
sure where exactly). Only that agent can see the leave request, whose
 name
is coming to that field. Any other agent is unable to see the leave
 request
even though he receives the workitem.
I think some configuration needs to be changed, so that any
 approver
can see the leave request and approve. Can anybody please help?

Thanks and Regards,
Abir Kundu
