Hi there,

SAP provides standard archiving object (WORKITEM) configurable thru SARA.

The "negative" experience I've had was that the archived workflow logs do
not retain the attachments created within the workflow inbox.

Otherwise it works great!

Subject
Workflow Archiving

Hi,

My client is thinking of implementing workflow archiving. My question here
is, what is the appropriate time to go for workflow archiving?
I understand there is a program called RSWIWADO.
When I run this program, everything is green. Does that mean, we can still
go ahead without implementing archiving?

Also, would like to know what are the issues faced once archiving is
implemented? Also show stoppers, if any?
Would appreciate if practical experiences about the same can be shared.

Thanks in Advance.
Pratima
