CRM Actions with Processing type of Workflow

Hi,
   We are Creating a Action during creation of Service Orders.
 While creating the Action with processing type Workflow, we have given our 
 custom workflow. 
 But our workflow was not triggered. 
 Could any one please let us know like do we need to do any setup to trigger workflow?
