Administrator comments to workflow log

We have also added a container element into the workflow.  However, we
only mark changes to the workflow design.  We don't log reasons for
runtime changes, but I like the idea of creating an attachment to do so.

What we've done is to add a container element called WFComments (Char
50) to each of our workflows.  Then when we have to do something to a
workflow, we click the Change Container button and modify the WFComments
container with the action being done (delete, forward, etc) and then do
the action.

 As a workflow administrator, if I am taking some manual action to a
workflow task(eg: Manual forward, Manual complete etc), is there any way
I can document  the details why I took this action for later reference
or audit purpose?. I am looking for a way to attach e-mail, or write
details and attach to the workflow item so that I can go back in future
and show the auditing?.
