Filtering required for Task used for error handling

It definitely will effect inbox performance. One of my old clients had a
lot of problems with slow inboxes and part of the problem was dynamic
columns. The other problem is that they had thousands and thousands of
work items in their inbox....

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the help, paralley I tried it with Dynamic columns and it
worked!!
One doubt: whether use of dynamic columns will affect by any chance for
Inbox performance?
Just wanted to know , would it be tedious from reporting point of view
if we have only one task instead of having different tasks?

Also, will you pls explain the point once again which you have mentioned
for reporting / statistics?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Akshay,
Have a look at dynamic columns. They'll do what you're after in the
inbox.
Search sap help for your version for keywords "Dynamic Columns Business
Workplace"

For reporting/statistics you probably have to query the container for
each task, but usually you're better off reporting on from the business
object side of things for this type of info (e.e. look to your
application tables for a breakdown of documents/code),

Cheers,
Mike
