Checking for duplicate WFs for an Applicant object

How about calling SAP FM SWW_WI_TO_OBJECT_FIND during your Check Function 
Module in the Event Linkage (set in SWETYPV)?

Note this won't always work for multiple triggering events being dleivered 
asynchronously at the same time. All depends on whether the COMMIT WORK 
statement in the first event has managed to update the database in time for 
the second Check FM call to find it.
