Ed,

Use Kjetil's suggestion of setting a possible agent. I have applied possible
agents in the past at the workflow template and it has worked.

Richard.

Andy (Curtis) & Wim (Verhelst)
Thank you both for the two pieces of the puzzle. The new GOS service will
call the SWU_START_WITH_OBJECT fm. I'll give it a try and let you know how
it goes.
Thanks,
Ed

Had a bit of time, so ran a test or 2 here. I got it to work via debug of
the FM that gets called fom GOS (SWU_START_WITH_OBJECT), to make it work
though. I had to provide the Wf template Agent Determination, I made it
general. The Wf template also has to have the same Business Object, (I
guess Q. Notifs is BUS7051, thats what I was using here).

Subject: Start Workflow using GOS
We are in ECC 5.0

For Quality Notifications we would like to start the workflow manually using
GOS - Start Workflow.

When I select Workflow>Start Workflow I do not see my workflow in the list
of available workflow templates - only the subflow I call from the primary
workflow template.

The SAP documentation indicates that the workflow needs to conform to some
undescribed characteristics - no hint as to what characteristics qualifies a
workflow for this method of initiation.

Has anyone used this GOS function that could suggest what is missing?
