Execute workitem via e-mail/internet

Hi,

 

I am new to this mailinglist, so probarbly a similar question has been
asked & answered already...please forgive me...

 

I am looking for a solution for following 'challenge':

 

A customer wants to have a workflow scenario where approval needs to be
given for a credit memo request (in case: SD Salesorder with custom
order type). People who have to give this approval are mostly non
sap-users and/ or on the road and therefore have no access to the
sap-system. They can read their e-mail and access the internet. What is
now a relatively simple way of acchieving this ?

 

It is a R/3 4.70 system on WAS 6.20.
