Notification Text in Different Languages

Version is 6.2 

I have tried with the Transaction PFTG but it doesn't work.
If I make a change in the Task its reflected in all languages .
I have checked in Settings of Workplace also.

How to translate the work item text (I assume this is your question):
One solution is to log on in the different languages and use transaction
PFTC to enter the text. It will then be saved in the logon language.
This can be done for both work item text and work item description. The
description can later be maintained from any logon language, whereas the
work item text is a bit trickier.

How can the user have the text displayed in his/her logon language:
There is a flag (check box) in the user settings for workflow.
