Hi Paul, Yves,

you are right, but full truth is that you can solve every assigned
Org.Object e.g. RY, too.

Cheers

Heinz

P.S.: AC is using the mentioned f.m. :-) (look to
RH_TEST_ROLE_RESOLUTION)

Yves,

Merci for that, but this FM only allows you to resolve organization
objects like US, S, and P (as configured in T779O, which I don't dare to
change).

It won't resolve security roles (type AG).

I might need to do a heavy debug session to see how Workflow is able
to handle them all.

cheers

Paul

Hi,

We're on 620.

I am trying to design a 'generic' workflow that can be used in many
different (but similar) approval processes.
It needs to have the flexibility to specify responsible agents for each
step. These might be specified via
an expression in a custom config table.

My question is: does anyone know of a function module/method that can
determine the set of responsible agents
for a task, where the input can be: a rule, a role, an expression or an
organizational object?

Basically I'm looking for a way to replicate the 'Agents' tab on a
workflow step. In this tab, you can specify the set of
agents in many weird and wonderful ways. What is the underlying function
that resolves this?

I've found some FMs that can resolve roles, but not much else.

thankee
Paul
