SAP Standard Workflow for Leave Request - Does anyone have a clue

Hello Mark,
I suppose you are referring to report "RPTARQPOST" (It is scheduled to
run every minute in the the productive environment)... I looked at the
workflow definition and saw that the approval task is a synchronous
task...I cannot make out why the completed approval task should wait in
the inbox for the "status change" of the LR.
Lola.

G'day Lola,
I'm no longer on site so I can't tell you the name but there is a
scheduled job which needs to run. It's described in the Leave SAP online
help. If you look at the WF definition it will be waiting for a change
of status, and it's this job which changes the status.
Good luck,
Mark

Dear SWUG members,
We are running on SAP BASIS 640.
The sap standard template for leave request approval is active;
Approval
is done via UWL in SAP portal. Issue is that after approval,
work items
are not cleared from approver's inbox (even after manual
refresh).
I wonder if anyone has come across such...
Regards,
Lola Awosika.
